Frog In A Blender
(To the tune "Friends"
by Michael W. Smith)
Lyrics by Jack Hall
Hopping through the grass I planted
Slipping 'cross the morning dew
Can't believe the legs God granted
Means the chapters in your life are
through
It will be gross as always
As your body's torn apart
'Cause your heart, your bones, and
eyeballs
Will mesh inside my Cuisinart
Put a frog inside the blender
With some ice cream and some milk
Plug it in, and then hit puree
Til it's green and smooth as silk
Though it's hard to feel you go
To my stomach I still know
Your my favorite homemade shake
My froggy blend
Yesterday you were a tadpole
Swimming in a pond, you grew
Now I'm grinding up your flippers
Mixed with ice cream now you're goo
It will be gross as always
As your body's torn apart
'Cause your heart, your bones, and
eyeballs
Will mesh inside my Cuisinart
Put a frog inside the blender
With some ice cream and some milk
Plug it in, and then hit puree
Til it's green and smooth as silk
Though it's hard to feel you go
To my stomach I still know
Your my favorite homemade shake
My froggy blend
